Tweet Friend Card with Andrea Amu

I am not sure when it happened, but Fall has arrived here in Georgia. It seems like just yesterday the kids were running around outside in bathing suits Now the air is cool and crisp, leaves are falling and I'm pulling out the sweater boxes.  My favorite part of fall is the colors and I love Andrea's card for its mixture of warm oranges, yellows and brown.  She uses one of our fabric bows to top her sweet die cut birdcage.

Going gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with Kat Benjamin

Going Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Kat Benjamin

The whole month of September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Those of you who have followed my blog for a while know I lost a dear one this past March. Duncan Campbell was only 2 and passed of brain cancer. He was the son of a very close friend. All this month I've been incorporating gold in my lifestyle and crafting and I am so happy that Kat has jumped on the band wagon to support this great effort to raise awareness.

Here in Sofia, Bulgaria, the center of the city has a yellow brick road.  My daughter, being a fan of the Wizard of Oz, loves this stretch of road and wants to have her photo taken there every time we are there.

Doilies on Layouts with Lisa Spiegel

Doilies on Layouts
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Lisa Spiegel
Lisa loved using Curtsey Boutique products on her layouts.  They add so much depth to simple paper products. For this layout, she used the White 4" Doilies, the Yellow Dyed Doilies, a Polka Dot Embossed Glassine Bag, a yellow library card, yellow twine, cream seam binding, a cream felt flower (that she misted green), a heart stick pin, a Shabby Chic vintage mini clothes pin and a Shabby Chic wood button.  All of these products make for one pretty layout!!

Kat Benjamin
Kat shares adorable favor bags that were a cinch to pull together with Curtsey Boutique embellishments.

Kat shares "I was recently pressed for time before an event and was looking for a quick way to make some cute favor bags.  These butterflies already had such beautiful details that it was easy for me to just attach them to a doily with a sentiment tag and use them to top a brown paper bag...these quick favor bags only took minutes to make and look
pretty cute!

Mason Jars are just everywhere in the crafting world today. Raechelle shares a simple and sweet way to dress them up.

Pick your favorite chalk paint and coat the exterior of the jar. Sand down the raised text with a fine grit sand paper or an emery board. Then wrap the neck with baker's twine and use hot glue to add our signature rolled felt roses and shabby chic gray flowers.
